Got Logged Out After a Few Minutes with Error

Operation system: macOS Sequoia 15.4.1 (24E263)

Web Browser: Safari Version 18.4 (20621.1.15.11.10)

Bug report

What were you doing:

Used link got from email to login for the first time.
Logged in via Safari, was successful

  • Created one note on desktop on different computer
  • Pinned note
  • On Safari
    • expanded Notes in left navigation
    • clicked on Untagged - note showed as expected
    • Clicked on note menu and deleted
    • 30 seconds later or so got logged out message (see image attached)

  • got logged out after doing some actions

What did you expect to happen:

  • stay logged in with no error

Hi, and thanks for the feedback. That looks like a failed request to iCloud, that triggered the end of the session. In this phase of the beta we’re invalidating the user session in case anything unexpected happens during the communication with iCloud. But it’s precious feedback anyway, so if you like let us know if it happens again or if you notice a pattern!
