Inconsistent web app syncing to iOS devices

  • What were you doing: Creating new notes on WebApp inconsistently sync to iOS devices (some show up immediately, others not at all)
  • What feature did you use: Create new Note / update note text
  • What happened: Creating new notes on WebApp inconsistently sync to iOS devices (some show up immediately, others not at all). Sometimes the note shows up correctly on the webapp, but when I navigate away from that note and then come back it disappears. Is there a way to force the sync on the web app?
  • What did you expect to happen: That the note would show up across devices.

It seems to be happening especially when I copy/paste into the web note. Even if just plain markdown text, as I test more

To continue to try to help root cause, the syncing seems to freeze whenever you create a multilayered tag that doesn’t already exist, e.g., #topic1/subtopicA#. Whenever I do this from the webapp, the syncing stops completely and you need to refresh the page/lose your work from that point forward. If the tag is created in the iOS app and you’re simply pulling it into a new note on the web, then it works as intended

Hi, thanks for the feedback and the efforts to highlight the root cause. That’s definitely not the expected behaviour. I’ve been able to replicate the issue, we’ll address it as priority and keep you posted as soon as a fix is available.

Hi, we just deployed a bugfix that should solve this issue. Could you, reload the app and check if the behaviour is now the expected one? Thanks again for the report and the patience.
