What were you doing:
I’m not sure if this is a bug, but if you try a boolean search, such as this from the FAQ: How to search notes in Bear
recipes or errands
… what you’ll find is that ONLY the word “recipes” is highlighted in the results. While notes with the word “errands” show up in the result list, the word “errands” is not highlighted, nor is the note scrolled to the first instance of “errands”. So if you want to find where “errands” appears in a resultant note, you need to do a 2nd, in-page search, for the word “errands”.
Furthermore, with a vault of about 1000 notes, that search for recipes or errands
cannot be typed without incredible slowdown of the characters being displayed. As soon as you type the word “or” in the search bar, whatever follows will take a very long time to appear.
I hope search performance, and highlighting the searched words in results, can be fixed. Thank you.
