Question regarding reusing images from previous notes

Hi everyone,

I have a question about using images in Bear notes. We’re trying to use it as a “sticker collection” journal, where every day we’ll have between 10-20 images (from a growing library of 300) that will be on a daily note. It would take up a lot of space to store 10-20 images for each note as the year goes by.

We’re reluctant to have the images hosted with a URL because that would mean our devices would be redownloading the images every time we open the note.

Is there a way for Bear notes to point to the same copy of the image, possibly from another note, rather than attaching a new one every time?

This is not the case for Bear. Images are not linked and downloaded each time you open a note, but are synched one time and then loaded locally on the device when the note is opened.

No, Bear creates copies for each note the image is pasted into and I can’t think of a way of achieving this.
