Shake to Undo not Working with Edge on iPhone

What were you doing: Trying to undo deletion of text

What feature did you use: Shake to undo

What happened: Nothing, undo confirmation did not pop up.

What did you expect to happen: Undo by shaking, as in Safari.

Feedback:

Possibly an “Edge” issue, but I’m really missing a button for undo in Bear Web on iPhone browsers.

What about adding undo/redo as menu items to editor “kebab” menu? Or as items on BIU bar?

Shake to undo is a very shaky invention (pun intended)

PS. Shake to undo not working in Firefox either.
But works in both Safari and Chrome.

Update:

Found a standard accessibility tip for iOS:
Single tap screen with three fingers brings up a special toolbar above edit pane, towards top of screen with:
Undo, (Copy, Cut,) Paste and Redo:

Double tap screen with three fingers = instant undo :blush:

Interesting. I suspect that you triggered the browser undo buffer and not our own, but due to the setup it probably kind of works anyway. I will need to investigate further.

It would also make sense to expose undo/redo as buttons when you don’t have access to keyboard shortcuts.
