The switch to MathJax v4 appears to have introduced a small issue with inline equation rendering, for some reason only manifesting with short expressions. Example screenshot below. Let me know if you need any more info for debugging ![]()

Just to note this bug is still present in 2.8.1 (although interestingly it doesn’t seem to happen in Web, I’m guessing there are some differences in terms of how MathJax is rendered there)
I can confirm this bug is not yet fixed in the app store version currently available.
Hey, just letting the Bear team know that I’m also encountering this bug. Most of my math in Bear is just one or two symbols inline, so it tends to come up pretty often.

I can confirm this is fixed in 2.9
(at least on iOS, haven’t been home to check on macOS but no reason to believe it’s not fixed there either.)
