What were you doing: Standard use - issue was immediately present when I started using the web app and has not changed. when i switch between the web and the app, the issue remains on the web, but the app is as it should be.
What feature did you use: Bear Web
What happened: Several tags are duplicated in the web app and multiple tags are missing under the same structure.
What did you expect to happen: The tags and structure should be the same as the app.
Hi and welcome! Thank you so much for the feedback. This is obviously a bug, but one we thought we fixed already. I’ll verify and will keep you posted.
Confirming this still exists. What were you doing: - Logged on to Bear Web, and began adding some notes with tags. Changes are visible in the app folder hierarchy, but not in the WEB folder hierarchy. The notes are visible in both locations, but not in teh folder structure. What feature did you use: Bear Web What happened: Multiple tags are missing under the same structure.
What did you expect to happen: The tags and structure should be the same as the app.
Ok thanks for confirming this. We’re working on unifying the tag handling code across all platform, that should definitely help. We’ll keep you posted.
Hi bru, this also exists on my end, thanks for working on it. I have #ai tag and it has a lot of subtags in my bear macos app but the subtags are missing on the web app although all the notes exists when I visit the #ai tag.
@Atharva@BigStory@schambersdunn the current release brings a number of changes to the way tags (and the sidebar) are handled. It also fixes all the causes of this issue that I could manage to replicate. Could you check if the problem is fixed for you as well? Thank you so much.
