Hey with all the notes I take, I wonder how it is shaping my mind. Maybe AI can help me find new connections with the notes I have for further coherence of the mind. can anybody relate?
I found an app called Napkin. This app promotes using notes to build coherence. but I want to collect my ideas or notes in one place (Bear). Maybe there could be a collaboration between bear and Napkin?
What do you think? could this be a use case for Bear’s AI feature?
Bear has no AI feature, has none planned beyond Apple Intelligence, and I believe you will find this community generally wary, if not hostile, to the concept of AI.

As a data scientist, I’m not hostile to AI use, but I sure am wary of it. I have personal and professional use cases for it, and have found it useful within my personal knowledge management approach. However, I agree that I wouldn’t be too keen having AI embedded within Bear since that means Shiny Frog is largely on the hook for updates on that front too. I’d rather them focus on making a fantastic writing and notes app and put the onus on the user to use or not use AI from other companies.
Yup, especially as the web client is being developed. I hope it’s made with ADP in mind.
