Trying to figure out how to automate changing the sort order so I can make a link in Bear to change between a few sort presets. In particular, I’d like to have a shortcut or link that allows me to go straight to modification date - ascending, and alpha - descending. Haven’t found a way to do this with X-callback or shortcuts. Is it possible?
XURLs and Shortcuts don’t come with this functionality. Maybe you can associate a custom macOS keystroke with the View > Notes Sorting menu options.
Thanks for the idea, but the keystroke barely saves any clicks and won’t work on other devices. As I posted years ago, we really need for sort order to be saved for tags instead of universally set. Bear is so well designed but sort order is very un-Bear like and a constant snag in using Bear in a fluid manner.
