RTF export doesn't honor indented todo lists

  • What happened: Todo list’s indented items wasn’t indented in the RTF
  • What did you expect to happen: Indented items in RTF, too

What’s the app you pasted the rich text into? I get the desired result if I paste it into TextEdit or Pages and I suspect this is the target app’s fault.

An obscure little Apple app called Mail.app…

If I copy the content of this TextEdit file into Mail’s composer you can see the 2 lists are treated differently while having the same indentation. I can also see issues when checkboxes are copied from Notes to Mail.
